Usage

Place the Item in the area to be detonated. Light the wick and withdraw (or withdraw and activate the detonator device). The user must be protected with standard anti-explosive equipment, especially eye protection. Hearing protection is not necessary. While not in use, the Item must be stored under the same conditions as a regular explosive. The Article's manufacturing instructions and the chemical formula of its composition must be in the possession of personnel at Beta level and above.

Report

The Article is an explosive composed mainly of nitroglycerin trinitrotoluene. Unlike ordinary dynamite, the Item is completely silent when detonated. The resulting explosion is still damaging, like any explosive.

The Item is indistinguishable from conventional dynamite. The difference lies in the use of an additional element during its manufacture. This element is known in the organization as █████nio, in honor of its discoverer, the chemist Klaus █████. Once finished, the mentioned element is diluted and it is impossible to detect. All attempts to distinguish, through the use of microscopes and similar components, between an explosive dynamite charge and an explosive charge of the Article have failed, always giving a 100% match between one and the other sample.

Currently Base Seven has a total of █████ cartridges in storage. Each unit of the Article must be used under certain situations, when strictly necessary. The █████nium is a very expensive item to obtain The way to synthesize the █████nium from [DATA EXPUNGED] has been discovered, thus lowering the cost of manufacturing the Item and equaling it to of common dynamite.

Appendix

On 08-10-1952, after Operation Aphonic Thunder (█████, Kenya), an inventory of equipment was conducted prior to collection. A box of 220 cartridges of the Article was reported as missing. No culprit could be found or a way to extract the container without alerting the camp guards.
The following month, as of 09/19/1952, the SCP Foundation found the box near an abandoned mine. According to the spy's information, only three of the cartridges were used. The rest were listed as Anomalous Object ES-597328, and placed under containment.

At least your scientists haven't figured out the formula. They think it is "thaumaturgy", or "alchemy", or something like that they said. - Lieutenant Drebin
